Agilent
The Agilent HLD PD03 Portable Dry Helium Leak Detector is a compact, portable mass-spectrometer helium leak detector used to locate and measure very small leaks. The HLD PD03 uses a mass spectrometer tuned to detect helium as a tracer gas. The HLD PD03 has an oil-free scroll/diaphragm primary pump with a pumping speed of 3 m³/hour.[1][2]

The primary vacuum pump is an IDP-3 dry scroll pump with a pumping speed of 3 cubic meters per hour (2 cubic feet per minute). A patented dual-pump design enables fast cleanup and background suppression. The instrument has a sensitivity of 5x10⁻¹² millibar-liter per second (5x10⁻¹² atm-cc per second). The maximum test port pressure is 13 millibar (10 Torr) in normal mode and 200 millibar (150 Torr) in gross leak mode.[1]
The detector supports sniffing and spray-helium test methods, as well as high-sensitivity and gross-leak modes. Optional accessories include a wireless remote controller, a harsh environment probe, and an automated test fixture. Communication capabilities include analog output and serial communications standard, with an optional discrete I/O interface.[1]
